The Bipolar Disorder Denver Meetup is a group designed to help bring people together that are diagnosed with bipolar disorder/manic depression in order to engage in discussion, support, and encouragement. We are NOT doctors. This group is for people who specifically have bipolar disorder are seeing a psychiatrist on a regular basis and are taking medication as asked by your doctor.This group is not open to other biochemical disorders.

I wanted to start a group because I have Bi-polar I disorder and I have been receiving ECT treatments for almost 10 months. I have been beyond dissapointed to not find any support groups of people that can relate to my situation. I have called numerous doctors in different cities for ideas and help forming a support group to no avail, so I am trying here.
